Venue Rentals

The Southern Food & Beverage Museum is a unique and comfortable space, reminding you of both your mother's kitchen and a country juke joint. With an exhibit for each of the Southern states, the curious and winding La Galerie de L'Absinthe, a top of the line demonstration kitchen, and the grand Museum of the American Cocktail, an event at SoFAB means you're giving your guests a little extra. In the glow of vintage neon signs, guests can sip cocktails, eat, and mingle, while trying out turn of the century kitchen tools.

The Culinary Innovation Center

The Culinary Innovation Center is a licensed commissary kitchen within the Southern Food & Beverage Museum. The Center serves as a demonstration kitchen, laboratory, studio, meeting space, and venue. The 1300 square foot kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art Jenn-Air appliances and a wide selection of culinary equipment. The kitchen can be accessed through the museum or through its own door at 1830 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

If you are a culinary entrepreneur interested in renting the kitchen as a commissary as part of SoFAB's Mentorship and Culinary Entrepreneurship Program, please contact info@southernfood.org for more information. We're proud to be the home base for several local companies!
